Lion Attacks 5-Years-Old Boy

The attack happened Friday night in Lower Woody Creek, according to Ginny Dyche, a representative of the Aspen Valley Hospital.The boy's mother fought off the animal and brought him to the hospital, Dyche said After initial treatment in Aspen, the boy was transferred to Children's Hospital in Denver. He's in fair condition while his mother has been treated and released.
The boy and his mother have not been identified and there's no word on what kind of injuries they suffered.
