It all began in the year 2009,Olamilekan met Aderinola at a Computer Institute which was actually his friends’. His sight and mind was captured by the beauty of the young Lady. He starred at her in a 3-Dimensional form but could he approach her to say ‘hi’? I don’t think a shy pot can summon such courage. However, he kept his thoughts about her to himself. Don’t judge him for not telling his friend because he might be shy but he is intelligent, patient and wise. Therefore, he decided to watch and observe Aderinola closely. Such decision would definitely yield a result, either negative or positive.
Olamilekan whose occupation isn’t anywhere close to Computer Software became a regular visitor of the Computer Institute where Aderinola works. From the photograph above, captured by DamopePictures you will agree with me that he is a lover of History and Nature. Thus, he is a Researcher. Each day, after work, Olamilekan drives down to his friend’s institute with the impression of just visiting and checking up on a friend but then, he had what he was placing focus on, which was completely unknown to all including his friend. Aderinola will just sit with her colleague chatting and laughing without the knowledge of having a watch guard. As times goes on, Olamilekan face became familiar to the workers in the institute. They knew his name and nick-named him Oga Lami. You might think Olami is doing the unnecessary but there is a reason behind his act.
Marriage is not a day course. Once you enroll, it has no planned graduation day. Oga Lami knew it is together forever so he didn’t let Aderinola’s beauty prevent him from checking out the necessary. He didn’t want to hear from anybody, wanted to see for himself the kind of lady she is. Hence, he was watching for a trait that will make him
conclude and say, “That is my wife”. Now you know why what you think is unnecessary is necessary to Olami. But don’t you think he would have voiced out if he gets to the institute one day without seeing Derinola. Anyway, she was always at the office. How fate works

“Welcome sir!” That echoed as Oga Lami stepped into the institute. He felt the happiness and acceptance of the employees. This prompted his decision to give each employee the sum of 2,000. They were about 8 of them. He visited each of their offices, had a talk and while he is taking his leave, he just stretch the money at them. “My friend has said a lot about you, just a token from me”, he said. “How nice Oga Lami is”, they thought. He got to Aderinola, “Ah, Oga
Lami, welcome sir, have a seat sir, she said. She had this Yoruba attitude in her, she laughed at both the funny and unfunny things he said just to make him feel comfortable. These were Oga Lami’sobservations. He stretched the sum of money to Derinola. But you don’t have to sir, I’m being paid for the job sir, I really appreciate your generosity”, She replied rejecting the money. That was like an insult to Olamilekan. Is she that well to do? Or is the money too small? Or I shouldn’t have? He thought. He left disappointed at himself.
Olamilekan stopped visiting his friend’s institute. He thought he no longer had a reason to visit his friend after work every day. He gave several reasons for the distance to his friend who became curious about the sudden change. All my employees have been asking after Oga Lami o, even one of them, Aderinola said she enjoyed your company and you are such a wise and intelligent man”, Olami’s friend said to Ola during a conversations on phone. On hearing the name Aderinola, and her compliments, his soul was elevated. He resumed visiting the next day, how glad they all were. I have missed you sir, Aderinola said innocently to him. “She didn’t accept my money what then does she misses”, he pondered. Olami no longer visited the institute but Derinola’s office as he goes to her office before even going to his friend, the boss’ office. Sooner, they became friends. He no longer calls his friend before coming rather, he calls Aderinola. How funny.
Olami could no longer curtail his feelings; he just had to ask the question “Will you be my girlfriend?” As usual, Derinola took her time to think about it.
December 12, 2012, Olami and Aderinola started dating. They had ups and downs, misunderstanding and all but the
love quote-I saw that you were perfect, I loved you and I saw that you were imperfect and I loved you more…explains everything. They are simply two imperfect beings that can work together to make a perfect relationship.
February 19, 2014, Olami proposed to Aderinola. Derinola had butterflies in her tummy, she just couldn’t believe it as she saw herself as a lucky woman but on the other hand, Olami sees himself as the lucky one. She said YES but then, an incident occurred.
The planning of their wedding could not commence as Aderinola’s dad kicked the bucket. It was supposed to be the planning of their wedding but it became Baba Aderinola’s burial planning. As expected, Aderinola became sad, wept for days, imagining how her lovely dad will not witness her wedding day. Why did he have to go now? ButGod knows best. She thought. Two years was automatically added to their courtship. How determined, patient and understanding these lovers were. The atmosphere became cool enough for a wedding plan. Olami and his family chose to visit the Okegbade family, to plead to be given a beautiful flower that has seized his thoughts day and nigh
