Dreamville 2018 Festival Postponed Due To Threat of Hurricane

The indefinite postponement of the Festival was announced by the organisers on their instagram handle @Dreamville, it was as well stated that individuals who have purchased the ticket will be reimbursed to this effect.
Due to safety concerns regarding dangerous weather, we are extremely saddened to announce today that the inaugural Dreamville Festival 2018 been cancelled. Our team has been working tirelessly with officials from the City of Raleigh, along with our state and Federal partners, among others, to monitor the potential negative impact of Hurricane Florence. With the current weather-related information at hand, we have together decided to cancel this year’s event for the ultimate safety of both local citizens and Festival attendees. Rest assured we are doing everything our power to make this event happen at a later time and we hope to share details regarding a possible new event date as soon as we possibly can” the organisers said.
The U.S. National Hurricane Centre has warned residents of a triple threat of Hurricane Florence in Carolina describing it as `a life threatening storm surge’. The Hurricane is expected to hit Carolina on Thursday, and over 1.5 Million people has been evacuated since the announcement. Following the outcome, the carnival has been postponed till further notice.

Alligator Snatches 2-Yr-Old Boy

Police are searching for a toddler who was dragged into the water by an alligator near Disney World's flagship Grand Floridian resort in Orlando after a movie night and fireworks on the beach. The hotel is a high end luxury resort owned by Disney. The Alligator clenched its jaws around the two-year-old and pulled the child into a nearby lagoon. Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Rose Silva said the toddler was last seen at 9.30pm being dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon by the alligator. Police are searching the waters and have put crime-scene tape around the water. It is one of three hotels linked by the park’s monorail line and just one stop away from the Magic Kingdom Park. The child's name was not available. It was not known if the child or his family were guests at the hotel.
